How to make Honey Grilled Chicken
Material:
- 5 chicken thighs
- 3 tbsp sweet soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons tamarind water
- 6 tbsp honey
- 350 ml coconut water
- 1 lemongrass stalk (geprek)
- 3 bay leaves
- 2 tablespoons Java sugar (combed)
- to taste pepper and salt
Ground spices:
- 5 pieces of cayenne pepper
- 5 cloves of red onion
- 3 cloves of garlic
Spread:
- 6 tbsp honey
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp stir-fried seasoning broth
How to make grilled chicken seasoning:
- Wash the chicken, coat the chicken with pepper, salt and 3 tablespoons of tamarind water, soak for about 15 minutes.
- Saute ground spices with butter, add lemongrass, bay leaf and palm sugar, stir-fry until fragrant. Enter the chicken that has been soaked in coconut water, cook until the water shrinks, and the chicken meat is soft.
- Roast the chicken over a pan or coals, while smearing the ingredients, spread it back and forth, bake until cooked
- Serve with warm rice, fresh vegetables and chili paste.
